The finalised Climate Change Plan was laid before Scottish Parliament yesterday. It signals a period of tremendous opportunity for those embracing the change to a future of clean energy.
The new Energy Strategy for Scotland, published in December, illustrated Scotland’s commitment to delivering 50% of all Scotland’s energy needs from renewables by 2030. Realising this target means that our transport, buildings, industry and landscape require transformational change and strong leadership to tackle denial, conservatism and resistance to change.
In 2015 Pale Blue Dot Energy were finalists in the Press & Journal Gold Awards, in the “Most Influential Business of the Next 50 Years” and “Innovation in the Future” categories. With Pale Blue Dot’s Acorn project cited yesterday in Scottish Parliament, and within the recent Scottish Energy Strategy, we continue to demonstrate leadership in tackling climate change.
