Rodrigo Oropeza

Energy Transition Engineer

Re-Engineering the energy for the future

Rodrigo seeks to leverage his experience and environmental research to develop large-scale engineering projects. Embracing new and bigger challenges such as delivering the energy transition.

His early research on the energy-environment nexus led him to work alongside the Academia, private investors and public stakeholders to implement new Carbon Capture and Conversion (CAPCON) technologies and analyse their potential in the current market.

Rodrigo holds an MSc in Oil and Gas Enterprise Management from the University of Aberdeen, which led him to recognise the importance of energy and its impact worldwide. Furthermore, his camping hobby and love for nature taught him the importance of a sustainable way of generating energy and incorporate a circular economy model to develop societies in harmony with our ecosystems.
